Rising music star Megan Thee Stallion is set to make a major career leap by appearing on Broadway for the first time, taking on the role of Zidler in Moulin Rouge! The Musical this spring.

The Grammy-winning rapper and performer will step into the role of the flamboyant nightclub impresario at New York’s Al Hirschfeld Theatre from 24 March through 17 May, marking a significant milestone in her artistic journey.

This casting makes Megan the first female-identifying artist to play Zidler in any production of Moulin Rouge! globally, as the acclaimed musical heads toward its final performances before closing later this year.
